Hi Just to clarify things with regards to the antenna.
The boxes now come with a telescopic antenna similar to that you would find on an FM radio. This was not attached when the unit arrived. It simply screws onto the top of the box. I referred to this as an external antenna. I understand that these units used to come with a fixed wire antenna.
