If you tab around in wmp 10, eventually you come to a fast forward button,
right after the seek button. Activate it by pressing the space bar. I
think that it has three speeds before returning you to the play
position. It seems to work quite well, and doesn't hang, as it often
seemed to in other versions. I never used it because of that, so I forgot
all about it.
