Hi Andrew,
I don't think you can record directly onto the CD,
however, using some type of recording software, and a microphone,
your friend could record the book into a long file, or in seperate files to
the hard drive.
Then the file, or files, could be burned to CD.
If you need more detailed imformation on how to do this,
please let us know.
Also let us know what version of windows, screen reader, and recording
software you will be using,
as this will help in the instruction process.
