Danielle, If you go to the control panel, and multi media, do you have your soundcard set as the preferred device? And there is a chebox for use only preferred device. You may have to close one program to use the other It seems like there may be a setting that we are overlooking somewhere, or the 2 programs may not be compatible. It's hard to say, without being able to duplicate the same setup here. I use total recorder, but not Skype. Do you have both, or either program loading at startup?
