It's working for me, but anything you uninstall you can install again if for some reason something doesn't work for you.

I don't have the cd... I bought it on line. Are you sure I can uninstall
everything accept the burning program and smart start without affecting the
operation of the program?

Thanks,

Judy

I just installed 6.601 of Nero Ultra addition. You don't have to install
the 6 parts of the package, just the first two, so just the Nero Burning Rom
and the Smart Start, so unless you need them I'd just get rid of the other
programs. I don't know why you don't find the player in the add/remove
programs, but try reinstalling it, rebooting and then un-installing it.

I went to add or remove programs and nero 6, nero mix and nero vision were
there--I didn't see nero player or nero multimedia player...

Any more ideas would be appreciated...

Judy

You don't need it. You could uninstall it. You could also go into the
right application and fix the file associations. I think it's called Nero
Multi Media Player.

I attempted to listen to a stream and instead of using my windows media
player--a nero player opened up. There was an error message and the nero
player couldn't play the mp3 stream. How do I disable this player so it
won't conflict with windows media player or real Player? I check the
nero
menus and couldn't find any reference to this player.

Thanks in advance,

Judy
