MP3DirectCut questions

Can you trim the blank space from the ends of a recording that has been done 
with mp3DirectCut? I know you can set the beginning and ending of a section 
you want to delete then hit delete. What do you hit then to save the 
recording?

I don't hear any flutter when recording but when playing the recording back 
I hear flutter from time to time. What causes this?
