Subject: sp2 and burning CD's, issues?
Hi everyone!
this question might have been raised before and if yes well all my apologies to ask it again.
I recently upgraded to windows xp sp2 pro edition. I don't know if it is related to this but yesterday I wanted to burn a CD. Everything seemed to run smoothly and my burning software (I used real player 10 for this) said that tracks were on CD. As I checked the CD I found out that there was nothing at all on it.
I used a CDR, burning at a 24X speed.
After this I tried with roxio easy CD Creator 5 and nothing. Same issue.
So, what is it due to? Is there something in SP2 that prevents the burning of CDs?
Do I need to upgrade roxio to CD/DVDcreator 7?
I'm asking this because given the price of such upgrade I'd like to make sure that there is an issue with sp2. If there is none known then that means that the problem comes from somewhere else (CD burner for instance)
Thanks in advance for your kind answer
AYMERIC
