Hi Frank. Soundforge is a sound editing program. With it, you can use reverb, and many other things with sound, and with the Effects menu, you can shift the pitch of a recording, and if you want, you can get the noise-reduction plug-in, to take out unwanted noise from vinal, and also other sounds like air conditioner noise, as well as other hums. I hope this helps. Maybe others can give you a more formal explanation.

Subject: Using Sound Forge 7
I received Sound Forge for Christmas. I must admit that I know absolutely nothing about how it works.
Could some one give me some idea as to how it works? I looked at some of the help topics and am still totally confused.
