I understand the Korg keyboards are quite good, but equally unaccessible.
they have touch screans. You may have better luck with a phantam, from
Roland, or some others, like a Kurzweil, or a Yamaha.

there is a list called MidiMag, and you may want to join it, since folks
there are doing the sort of thing you want to be doing.
