Just to clarify things, the yamaha burner to which I referred is a stand alone burner that burns audio cds only, and you have to burn them on discs called audio discs. It will accept both cdr and cdrw audio discs, but it won't accept data discs of either type, and it won't burn data at all. I use it to burn records and then transfer them to the computer.
Tom , Cdrws can screw up when burning either data or audio.
