You just made my point for me.  Why do you think they don't make them
any more?  Because we're the only ones who wanted/needed them, nobody
else cared about them, they just didn't sell enough fort Zenith to
even consider a second run.

Since you mentioned Tivo, I thought I'd approach this particular
beasty from the opposite end--not eh corporate one, but the software
developers' end, because the competing product, Replay, is an
OpenSource project.  Guess what!  They weren't any more responsive
than the Sony folks would be if you tried.  Even the Replay-TV web
page is a nightmare!  It's all so too bad.
