I recently got a second C Crane FM transmitter and when I removed the plate on the back and tried to turn that screw, it seemed as if it was all the way to the right. But aftaer I atweaked it a bit with the screwdriver, and replaced that plate, the tramsmitter seemed to work better anyway. So no harm was done and you may have moved it a tiny bit without sensing it. Lois Goodine.
