If you actually want crossfading then you'll need some software to do that. There is a free SQR crossfader plugin for winamp which isn't too bad. There is also an output stacker which supposedly allows you to stack output plugins, so you could stack the crossfader with the disk writer plugin and make a wave file which you could then burn to a CD. At least, in theory you should be able to do this.
If you have not normalized your mp3 files you might also want to get a compressor/limiter plugin for winamp as well. However I thought that there might be a way of encouraging .mp3 tracks to cross-fade. I would have thought that the buffering of .mp3 files would have been transparent to the system ie. that this would have occurred in the background and not interfered with output. Perhaps not. _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
