Oh boy here we go. Go to accessories, entertainment then volume control.
Make sure the microfone button to mute it is unchecked. Then go to alt up
arrow then properties. Then go to record and arrow to microphone. Then hit
the advanced button and check that one choice.

I can't get my microphone working anymore since I got the computer fixed.
Which settings do I need to go to so I can make sure everything is either
checked or unchecked as needed? I've been through this before with some of
you, but it has been so long.
