In short, if your station you want to listen to is Windows media, it's 
doubtful that Winamp will play it with a click of a link. it can play it 
with modifications of the address, but whose gonna do that unless you are 
extremely determined? the average joe just wants to click a link and listen 
as I said before. They just want that convenience, so again, the best thing 
to do is just let each individual player play the stations.
It's better to use the solution that works, rather than fighting with one 
that doesn't.

Hi Andy,
You should be able to tell WinAmp to  play your stations.
You should be able to do this from the preferences in WinAmp.
Likewise, you should be able to go into the options, or preferences of
Windows Media Player,
and de-select what you don't want it to play.

I've just created a web page with all of my favourite radio stations on it.
However, when I click on one of these, I get a welcome page from Windows
Media Player.  I'd like to play all these stations through Winamp.  Can
anyone please advise me how to tell internet explorer to choose Winamp as
opposed to WMP?
