I'm trying to remove crackles and other noise from some records using the Vinyl Restore plugin included with the Noise Reduction package from Sony Media Software. When I adjust the "Click Removal" slider to around 20, the crackling is removed, but both channels start cutting in and out. Can anyone give me any tips on how to remove noise using this plugin, or does anyone know of a better program for doing this?
