Hi, Steve If it's just quick notes you want to take on the hoof, what about using a mobile phone with Talks which has a voice recorder incorporated - the one I use is the Nokia 6600? This wouldn't be any use for long-term storage, so you'd need to trnsfer your notes elsewhere but for quick, short-term use, it should serve the purpose!
