Hi Bruce. Thanks to you, and everyone else for this. I'll go into Soundforge, and see what I can do with that. Converting MPG to MP3 was an option of mine. There are three Lone Ranger TV shows from 1956 on a CD. I wanted to do something with them so I could listen to them on my living room DVD player. I'd rather do that than listen to it, or any old-time radio programs on my computer. It seems more enjoyable in my living room. Now Jerry Richer mentioned that I could convert to WAV; but I'm wondering how I would do that. MPG is a video file. Would it solve this problem of converting MPG files to get some DVD burning software? I have Nero 5.5, but I don't think you can burn DVD's with it. Would it solve this problem by upgrading to Nero 6?

I don't know, because that's what I don't have. Someone wants to buy it for me, I'll be glad to find out. What I'd do is open Sound Forge and try loading the MPG file into it. If you can, then you can save it in whatever format you want.

It'd be cheaper for you to purchase Gold Wave and convert that way if that's what you want to do, I'd think.
