Maybbe you will get this reply since you didn't get the one I sent the other
day.

I have used the automatic splitting on two files. One wouldn't split since
it was a recording of a radio program and had no silent spaces in it. The
other one was also a radio recording but did have a few spaces in it. when I
went to save it, I did change the folder where to save the files but left
everything else alone since I didn't understand it either. Just let it do
its thing. I then had four files in the folder where I asked it to save
them.

I don't think you can tell it to split the files into certain time periods
unless you do it manually.
