and since iPodder only downloads wwhat is put in an enclosure element, you are pretty safe. Typically, what people send are mp3 files.
It's always safe to have some kind of antivirus or antispyware programs on your system, but iPodder shouldn't figure very much into that.

I have successfully downloaded and installed ipodder. Great fun so far.
However, as I was downloading some streams, it came to me, "how about spywareand viruses?"
I have all of the protection, spybot, norton, adaware, ms anti spyware, but, with the freedom of ipodder, do I have to be more careful, or just the normal watch of spyware and viruses.
Second question if I may, once the feed has been chosen, are all future streams automatically downloaded to mydefault folder?
