Oh yes, you can certainly do this. Open the file that is to be appended,
press Control+A to select all, and then I believe the keystroke is
Control+D. This should open up a dialog box like a Windows explorer window
that allows you to select the file that you want to append your open file
to, it's that simple. And, it works great.
