Nick, While in Real Player, go to Tools and then to Preferences. Once you open the Tools menu, Preferences should be up one item with the arrow key.
Arrow down to Media Types and then tab for the list of file types. Make sure the one's you do not want Real Player to play are unchecked. I think there is an item at the end of the list about what to do when new types are encoutered. tab back around to the folder list and arrow down to the Automatic Service items. Make sure that check for new item on start up (or something like that) is unchecked. tab to OK and hit enter and that should set up things to play the way you want them to. The list of item folder in the Preference menu does not read well in JFW so you may need to tab and back tab to refocus on each item. Good luck. >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 6/6/2005 3:30:13 PM >>> Hi, I have the latest version of realone player installed and it wants to play everything even when I have winamp setup for mp3s real plays them and wavs and other types that no player is setup to play real plays them. I want real just to play real media files and nothing else. I also want it to play .amr files used by my nokia n-gage phone because I can't find an input plugin for winamp for these types of files? Is there one out there because I looked on winamp.com and can't find it? What do I need to do to make this change I am using window eyes 5 on windows xp professional sp2. bye My web page is at http://www.nickgawronski.com _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
