I am also going to be getting a iriver flash player from a friend of mine
if I give you guys the model number when I recieve it can you help me as far
as what is what on the player?

I have it, and it works perfect for me. You need about an hour or to
ajust
on it but at the end its simple to use. Just make sure if you decide to
take
it, that you change its firmware to an UMS version. With that firmware
you
will be able to use the player as a regular usb drive, or otherwise you
will
not be able to transfer all files to the player and from the player.
