Rockbox is being developed for the IRiver line of products and this
development is almost over. I would wait until then. But if you can't,
the
firmware is at www.rockbox.org, not dot com.

Subject: Request for Portable Player Suggestions and Information
Hi All,
I had pretty much settled on purchasing an Iriver portable player, when I
discovered that I might be able to get my hands on an Archos Jukebox 20.
My
understanding is that this Archos player can be made very
accessible, if I download and install firmware from www.rockbox.com. I'm
hoping that people on this list have experience with Archos products and
whether the alternative firmware from Rockbox really works. Is this
older technology that I should stay away from?
If so, can anyone suggest a player with a significant amount of storage
capacity that I can setup without sighted assistance and whose features
are
accessible?
I would really appreciate any information and purchasing suggestions
regarding these players.
Thanks.
Donna
