Shashi,
I'm glad I was able to help. I had the same question about a week ago. God
bless.

Susan,
I am very much obliged to you for your prompt reply. Thanks to
your advice, the problem has thankfully gone away. Please forgive me
for sending this direct to you in order to avoid cluttering up the
list. God bless. Kind regards.
Shashi.

Shashi, Go to Preferences with Control-P and then arrow down to
General. Under General preferences you should be able to tab to an
item that says "check for new versions at startup". Make sure this is
unchecked and close out of the dialog and that should solve the
problem for you. Susan -----

Hi folks, I have winamp5.92. Every time I launch it it comes up with a
nag screen asking to upgrade to 5.93. I do not particularly wish to
upgrade it. So how do I get rid of the nag screen please? It is
getting a bit irritating. Thanks in advance for your help. Shashi.
