Hi, Aman, That gadjet's probably delivering good audio, so I'd use 44.1khz/16-bit to record it. I can't speak for others's ears, but mine wouldn't notice any improvement from higher sampling and bit rates. As to making mp3s from your 22.5khz files, if they are mainly speech, I'd get by with 56k bit, but if music is involved, I'd go for something like 112k bit, just to make sure you're not getting audio artifacts that you'll be sorry about.
