Hi Josh
It's quite simple actually. The only things that are updated when you
install a new version, or in our case go back to a old one is that the
installer looks to see if there are certain files there and it only
overwrites certain ones, like the main Winamp application file and some
plugins. Your bookmarked radio stations and other settings like that
aren't even touched unless you actually tell the uninstall program to
remove all files. if you do that, then of course they'll all be gone. But
that's the beauty of Winamp, everyone thinks you have to just re-install
everything but Nullsoft keeps it simple.

Hey Chris,
A funny thing happened when I deleted the latest version, and went back
to 5.08E. I fully expected to have to reinstall all of my bookmarks, all
the radio stations I had previously marked, but when I checked the
reinstalled version, there they all were still. How does that happen? I
thought deleting one version would get rid of all the stations you had
bookmarked. I'm glad they didn't erase, but just puzzled.
