Yep, if you want skype to work properly, it is time for you to ditch that dinosaur of an operating system and upgrade to XP.

No version of Skype worked with Win 98 SE. It is now an old operating

  Hi list. Is there still a version of Skkype that will work with Win 98
SE?
  I use Win 98 SE and a dial-up modem, and JFW 4.51, and my PC is 333 MHz
and
  64 megs of RAM. I see the current version needs 128 megs of ram, and Win
  2000 or XP; I'm interested in it but don't want to go buy a new PC just so
I
  can use the current version of Skype. Any info on a version that works
with
  Win 98 SE and 64 megs of RAM, and works with JFW 4.51, would be
appreciated;
  thanks.

  Sincerely,  Peter Russillo
