Hello, I would like recommendations for a relatively accessible mini disk deck, not a portable. I would like to find something which can record at the standard and the long play modes, mono or stereo. A mike jack is desirable but not mandatory.
If such a thing exists, I hope to find something where one can scan quickly through lengthy tracks. Also, this should have an easy way to split large tracks and delete and move tracks. I have a related question. Do all decks employ that abominable serial copy management system? Just one other thing. The deck for which I am searching will be used primarily for analog recordings, but it would be desirable to be able to record mp3 files, but this is not essential. Please also mention what I am likely to have to pay in U.S. dollars for a deck with the features I want. Thanks much for ideas.
