Hi, Jim, You suggested I use the arrow keys up and down without the shift to narrow the selections. That works great, as long as Im' not actually selecting anything. It doesn't help with the shift-left arrow or shift-right arrow selections. They're still too big, even with one tap of the right arrow and shift combination, for example.
