Hi Kathy.

I have a Panasonic DVD player that will play MP3 files. However, you have
to have all tracks at the root level. That is, you can't play MP3 files
that have been saved in folders that are burned to the disc. Like you, I
also had a portable MP3 player, a Phillips machine. With the portable
player I could have folders with tracks inside them and it would play all
files as it was able to drill down into the folders. Maybe your DVD player
can't drill down into folders.

Regards.

Kevin
