Well, I've given up on Real Alternative. I couldn't find anyone to help me
troubleshoot why the audio output device selector didn't have any effect at
all; no matter what selection I made, it still played through my default
sound card. And, the sound quality with Real alternative was noticeably
inferior to Realplayer's, even through my desktop speakers. So, I've ripped
out Alternative and put the real Real back in.

now, I'll just have to wait and see if Real Networks ever gets their act
together and adds support for multiple sound cards.

Blessed Be,

Dana
