Hi. If you're wanting to set a bunch of MP3 files to the same target volume, I'd recommend MP3GAIN over normalising in CDEX. If you're wanting to set the volumes of other format files I'd recommend Goldwave.
I've never found the normalisation feature in CDEX that useful as you still end up with music at noticeably different volumes. Regards.
