Randy,

I've had better luck with version 1.3, rather than the latest 2.1. You can 
get it at:
http://sky.prohosting.com/oparviai/pacemaker/old/index.html

Once you've installed it in Winamp, highlighting it in the Plugins section 
of Winamps preferences brings up controls with which you can set speed, 
pitch, and tempo.

I installed version 1.3, and it's working much better for me.

In general, am I right in thinking that one would want to decrease the pitch
setting by the same amount one increases the speed? This seems to give me
pretty good results. but, do you know of a better rule of thumb?
