I have read on one site where they had a good description of the R-1, that you can't record simultaniously from the mic input and the line input. Apparently the line input over rides the mike. This seems a serious shortcoming if you want to mix live background and narration. Can anyone confirm this. If this is so, what would be the next model up in quality that would allow for mixing of background and mike.
