The only iPod I've used is the iPod Shuffle. It is verry easy to use. It only has 2 buttons. The round button on top controls the volume, going between tracks and play and stop. On the back is a switch with 3 positions: off, shuffle and standard play.
I use it for my books I download from audible. The only problem is that mine doesn't save the place when I stop playing the program. When I resume the program it is usually 15 to 20 minutes ahead of where I stopped it. I usually listen to the next 20 minutes on my computer between the time I stop and resume playing the program on the iPod Shuffle.
