There are a few options for you.  I'm sure somebody's already covered Easy
CDDA Extractor, so I won't go into that one.  A free option you have is to
use Winamp.  Just play the file like you normally would, but the change you
need to make is in the output plugins.  Select Wave Out, configure it to
save your file in whatever format you want and where ever you want the file
saved, and play the file.  This will work on web content and even protected
.wma files.  If Winamp can play it, you can convert it.
 
One think you will need to take note of: Whatever processes you have in the
DSP Effects will transfer over to your conversion.  If you want the file to
sound like it would without effects, select "none" in the DSP Effect
Plugins.
