OK, I've not heard from the list moderator one way or the other, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and tell you that the plug-in is called Volume Logic. There's another one they have, called Octimax_ (note the underscore at the end of the name--odd, yes). Both are available from http://www.octiv.com, and that company appears to be a wholly owned subsidiary of Plantronics, the people who make all those neat headsets for telephones of all kinds.
