I think I got it in 2000 or so, but I know it's been out of warranty awhile, 
and Dell repair could be more expensive than it's worth. There well could be 
cheaper processing solutions out there than buying another old laptop of 
unknown condition on Ebay, especially considering Sound Solution made 
noticeable lag on my previous 1 gig desktop system, and I believe the Dell 
is probably a 333 mhz with some small amount of ram, I imagine.
