Brent! It will show up as a whole different device having nothing to do with your Sound Card. There is no way to incorporate it into your existing Sound Cards volume control. I don't suppose there's a way to record from it and your synth at the same time. With the four or so I've used they show up as "USB Audio Device" or something similar under "Sounds and Audio Devices", right in there amongst all the other sound devices like your sound card.
