Then what advantage does ots give you? I bet most automation systems in common use require conversion to something. For some reason, many people like mp2 instead of mp3 for some reason. I wonder what mp2 does better? I suppose some systems have been in use for many years, and that's all they support besides wav, and anything in dos probably still uses wav or CD changers.
