Yes, it will as long as you specify in your audio player to use Virtual Audio cable out as your sound device and then configure your choice of audio recording program to use Virtual Cable in as your sound device. Note that you don't need to use the audio repeat program if you use the above approach. Since I don't hear the TV when it's recording, is it really using line-in for that, or only for live audio?
