Well, I liked the software, but why have software when you can just use it 
as a removable disk? That is what mine is. I've used the software and it has 
some issues (the add to player button is announced as an = button). I've 
made playlists also. The flash players, at least to me, seem better. I think 
the reason my rio was shot was because of the harddrive interface. It has 
moving parts, in other words.
