Hello, Andre. Yes, I believe you might be able to use yahoo messenger with your version of Jaws. I have Jaws 5.0 and am able to instant message with a couple of people. It does take some getting used to but after awhile you can do it. I got yahoo messenger this summer and I really like it. The only thing I don't know how to do yet is the call setup. Rosemarie
