I want to listen to one of my favorite FM stations that I moved too far away from, and alas the streaming is back. What Winamp plugin can I use to reduce this high-frequency tone that they seem to be sending with the streaming signal? It is at least a 64k shoutcast stream. The tone seems to move through the stereo image in a weird pattern. It is puzzling why this would show up on the stream but not on the radio when I can hear the station in a car and it sounds nice with no tone there. They do have a little AC hum you can hear when the DJ is talking, even on the radio, and no music is on but that is more tolerable than this tone that is exclusive to the stream. Of course anything I do could reduce quality somewhat but it would be good to reduce the tone. I just wonder what they could've done that creates this into the stream, don't know of a wiring problem that would give me something close.
