Well, I do not know about the solution, but I too lose Jaws when Reaper
runs. Haven't gotten far with it at all. But I'd need more time with it
too.

I haven't tried reaper yet, though I intend to. Is Reaper trying to open
your card as asio? This would explain it, as Asio always gets priority
over WDM streams.
