Unless I have been doing something wrong, I have to disagree with you as far
as mlb.com is concerned. I've paid the money for the mlb.com audio for the
last couple of years, and it, if anything, has gotten worse. I can remember
hearing games on small transister radios on am in the 1960s & 1970s that
sounded better than mlb.com has sounded in the last couple of years. And
what frustrates me is that I've heard some of the clips they run from mlbtv
to entice you to buy it, & they sound excelent. I have my system set up for
the broadband site rather than narrow band because broadband is what I have.
Maybe I'll try switching to the narrow band this year just to see if it
helps. I know that's opposite from what it should be, but I'm not sure I
want to continue paying for the audio I've been getting from mlb.com. Now,
as far as nfl.com is concerned, I couldn't agree with you more. They are
excellent!! & they also carry playoff games. At least they have so far this
year and they did all the way through the Superbowl the last couple of
years. If you think mlb.com is so good, maybe there's some setting I have
wrong, because the audio I get is almost not worth it. I think I'd rather
get an a.m. radio station with its accompanying fade in&outs and static than
to listen to the junk I've been getting the last couple of years. Any ideas
on what I'm doing wrong?
