Roden, As I explained in a series of messages on this list, yesterday, it makes no sense to convert an MP3 into an M4A. all that would do would be to make a very good copy of a very poor copy of the original audio. It would NOT convert a poor copy into a good copy. Unless you have access to an original source, such as a CD or WAV file, from which to make an M4A file, you're better off just listening to the mP3, as is.
