Hi, all.
I'd like to know how to open files with the extension mpa with Sound
forge 8. If this is impossible, I'd like to know of another editor which
will edit them. I have looked on Google but can't seem to find anyone who
has done this or wants to, probably because of bad keywords. The files I'm
after opening are described as follows in Winamps info dialog
Size: 649658856 bytes
Header found at: 0 bytes
Length: 5639 seconds
MPEG 1.0 layer 2
160kbit, 1353455 frames
48000Hz Stereo
CRCs: Yes
Copyrighted: No
Original: No
Emphasis: None
When I try to open them with SF 8, I get
Warning: An error occurred while opening one or more files.
The file format plugin for the specified format was not
properly initialized.
