So, are you saying that the receivers you hook your stereo into have better
sound quality?
I really want to know how to set my MyFi to use that FM transmitter for
other radios in my house as well.

There is definitely a difference between the receivers that hook directly
into your stereo, as opposed to the ones that you tune your FM radio dial to
receive the XM radio. I would base it on a comparison of audio tapes to
CD's. That's how much difference there is between those two, at least to
me.

I've heard some people say that the quality of XM radio is better than
anything on the internet, but I really couldn't say, as I don't have it. I
haven't as yet gotten an fm transmitter, and I haven't gotten my computer
hooked up to my home stereo, but I'm sure that even with internet radio, if
I could hear it through my Infinity speakers, I'm sure that the sound would
be even much better!

Well now, it all depends on the equipment being used. If you're using a
crappy pare of speakers, then it'll show. I have a XM MyFi and really love
the quality on my home stereo unit, so everyone's ears are different.
